Microsoft takes Linspire to Dutch court
May 11, 2004

Microsoft has filed a new complaint against Lindows, Inc. in Dutch courts. The new legal claim stems from the San Diego company's product name change to Linspire.

The Dutch court has been asked to levy a 100,000 Euro per day fine against Lindows. A hearing on the issue will be held on May 11, 2004.

The Lindows versus Microsoft lawsuit over the trademark "windows" has been in the courts for two years and is ongoing in the US, despite the company's name change.
