In part one of what promises to be an entertaining two-part series, Monolinux member John (aka 'eviltwin') provides a perspective on the current state of LindowsOS and the behavior of the company behind it, Lindows.com. The open source community, initially buoyed by the prospect of another promising desktop Linux distribution with an intention to take on Microsoft, is now beginning to question the company's accomplishments to date as well as its apparent failure to live up to GPL requirements. 'Eviltwin' writes . . .
