| Mozilla Foundation announces fund drive |

The newly established non-profit organization, the Mozilla Foundation has announced a fund drive to raise money for developing the Mozilla browser platform and Gecko rendering engine.
The Mozilla Foundation will be the legal home of Mozilla and continue mozilla.org's work of coordinating the development of the Mozilla codebase as will promote the distribution and adoption Mozilla-based applications. The organization has affirmed that AOL, Sun Microsystems, Red Hat, and other companies will continue to support Mozilla through the foundation.
The organization operates as an independent 501c3 organization and donations are tax-deductible.
